Welcome to Paide!

Do you know that there is a small town Paide (Weissenstein in German) in the centre of Estonia?
The town is interesting by its history where from the 13 century the Danes, Germans, Swedes, Poles and Russians have been ruled. Every nation has left its cultural heritage to the town.
Paide is known as a town of limestone, ordermasters, Baltic-Germans, craftsmen and merchants.
Today Paide is known for its events – Limestone Days, Christmas Folk, Jüri Folk, Paide-Türi Public Race
In Paide Culture Centre, Health Care Centre and Town Hall a lot of concerts and events take place throughout the year. An ancient Rampart Hill with its tower and historic centre Wittenstein is an outstanding landmark for tourists to travel through different historical times at Paide.
